Wartime Veterans and Widows may be eligible for VA Benefits

The Veteran's Administration is the second largest agency in the federal government, yet provides little known benefits for elderly or disabled veterans. To qualify for Veteran's Benefits, such as basic pension and Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefit, one must have:

1. Served at least one day of a 90 day minimum military service during wartime
2. Need caregiving for activities of daily living
3. Be disabled OR over 65 years old

Applying for the VA Benefits can be a long and confusing process. A-1 Home Care provides free consultation services to aid wartime vets and widows in filing for their entitled packages. Information is available on veteranaid.org. You can read more about this process in the New York Times article titled, "A Little Known Benefit for Aging Veterans."

A-1 Home Care has provided daily living assistance for Los Alamitos Veterans and their spouses since 1991. We offer caregivers in Los Alamitos, Irvine, Anaheim, Newport Beach, Brea and other Orange County cities. Our live in caregivers are fully licenced, insured and bonded.
